Holes

This is a poem I had to write in class. I had to take one line from a song and write wherever it takes you

Holes

There is a hole in my soul

It can never be filled

All my life I have been in hiding

Running away from men

Then you came along

Everything changed

You started to pull me out of the dark

You made me believe men weren't that bad

I started to trust you

Let you guide me

I became yours 

Then you left

You left for the next best thing

The new and improved 

You threw me out 

Like all your toys before

And left me for all to attack

There is a hole in my soul

And it is you who put it there
