light

Hi, sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. I have been really busy this summer with moving house, my grandparents visiting from Scotland etc.

So here is something I wrote.

Light

You see light when you are born

You see light when you pass into the other world

Light illuminates our lives

Keeps a smile on your face as you face each day 

It keeps our spirits up 

It keeps us from falling short

But what happens if the light disappears?

When all you can see is darkness?

You fall into a hole too big to climb out of

You fall into the wrong crowd 

Things start to go wrong 

And there is nothing you can do to stop it

Until one day someone helps you

They guide you with their light

They help you climb out of the hole 

They bring you back to the light

They put that smile upon your face once more

Your light is given to you for a reason

It is given to help

 You must not take the light for granted 

Use the light for good 

Make a better world for someone 

Teach them to smile like you smile

Teach them to laugh like you laugh

And by one light at a time the world will come together

The world will become as bright as the sun
